You can see the Infrared lights but they are not flashlight bright and you would have to really look for them if there is surrounding ambient light. Absolutely NO ambient light amplification. You can see, it will be sharp, you can manually focus for a shaper image. The price is good obvously and you WILL be able to see in the dark with them Its comfortable enough to walk, probably wouldn't hold up to running.
